Mission tour
Things have been crazy the last two weeks, and I have never been so busy! We had the mission tour, and we were able to see many miracles. I
learned much, and felt even more. It was great being able to spend two days
with Elder Christensen and Elder Gerard (of the Seventy) and with their wives
as I traveled with President Grayson throughout the mission. They were very nice, and so courteous to us. Everything flowed well
together, and I have truly felt the refiners fire more than I ever have!
I got to meet Congressman John Lewis at the Atlanta airport. (Congressman Lewis is a big civil rights leader) What an
honor! As I met him, the scripture from the Book of Mormon came to my mind:
"...For he doeth that which is
good among the children of men; and he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the
children of men; and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his
goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and
free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto
God...". (2 Nephi 26:33)
Let us always Be One
with each other, and remember we all have something in common: We are Children
of a Loving Heavenly Father! I truly love standing as a representative for The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
*Elder Justin Jensen, from our ward, arrived in
Macon Georgia to start his mission a couple of weeks ago.
Here are the two together!
How great is this picture!!
